It is our primary goal to ensure that the children who attend our nursery have the opportunity each and every day to learn, laugh and grow in a safe and secure environment. We strive to create a warm and welcoming home from home atmosphere where each and every child and their family are equally valued, respected and important.
We believe the children’s day should be an important mix of both child led and adult led activities supported by a wide selection of materials and resources to extend developing imaginations. Our team of dedicated staff are carefully chosen for their individual skills, their commitment to their role, their warmth, enthusiasm and desire to ensure the children in our care have the best opportunities to continue to learn, develop and thrive.
The continuous development of our staff team is important to us. We want the staff to feel they are all equally valued and as such support and encourage their ongoing personal and professional development. We involve them in making choices within the nursery thus fostering a culture where their voice is important and respected.
It is our goal to prepare the children who attend our nursery for school life and beyond, to leave our care with the basic skills needed in order to fully participate in family and community life in Britain. We actively promote British Values to the children, encompassing democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs into our planning and carrying out of activities with the children on a daily basis.
