Our nursery is equipped with age-appropriate, educational resources in bright, well-ventilated rooms, and a spacious garden divided into zones for safe, creative outdoor play.
Children enjoy daily access to areas like a mud kitchen, track circuit, climbing pyramid, and a planting space, all designed to support development and foster learning through exploration and play.
Sunbeams Day Nursery follows the EYFS curriculum, covering seven key learning areas including language, physical, social, emotional, literacy, maths, world understanding, and the arts.
Carefully planned activities help children build and strengthen their skills with growing confidence.
Throughout the week, children enjoy a variety of fun, fully funded sessions led by vetted professionals, including sports, music, sign language, and phonics.
These activities support key skills like communication, confidence, coordination, and early literacy through play and interaction.
In our 2023 Ofsted report, inspectors observed that “Children show happiness as they arrive at the nursery. They have secure and trusting relationships with their key persons and demonstrate that they feel safe in the nursery.”
