Settling In

At Sunbeams, we offer up to five settling-in sessions before your child’s first official day, gradually increasing in duration to help them adjust comfortably. These sessions ensure a smooth transition into their new environment.

Prior to these sessions, your child’s key person will meet with you to learn about your child’s likes, dislikes, and developmental stage, as well as how we can best support you. Settling-in sessions are free of charge.

Tapestry

Tapestry

At Sunbeams, we use Tapestry to track your child’s development, with regular updates from their key person, including photos and progress linked to the EYFS. You can add comments and share out-of-nursery experiences to support their learning.

Periodic written reports are provided, and at the end, you’ll receive a full record as a keepsake. Parents can only view their own child’s journal, but with consent, your child may be included in group photos with peers.

Our Menu

Our dedicated on-site chef prepares delicious and nutritious meals daily, following a two-week rotating menu.

We accommodate dietary requirements and proudly hold a 5* food safety rating, adhering to all legal guidelines.
